Dog training videos are a fairly recent invention and are basically an audio visual presentation of the standard dog training book.
The advantage with a video is that you can see step by step how the training should be undertaken and also how the dogs in the video react to the dog training exercises. I personally prefer the dog training videos and DVDs as you can go through them in an evening and see the sections that you plan on using with your dog.
